The Esybox Diver is a 7 in electronic multistage submersible pump with a built-in variable frequency drive, for clean water in wells, cisterns and tanks. It holds constant pressure, preset at 43 psi and adjustable from 14 to 80 psi, for home pressurization, rainwater reuse, gardening and irrigation. A permanent magnet motor cooled by the pumped water drives three impellers; PowerLine Communication links the pump to the supplied DConnect Box 2 and the H2D app.
Included: the Esybox Diver with its built-in variable frequency drive, non-return valve, overpressure valve, debris filter and 0.04 liter expansion vessel; the suction-height accessory; a 49 ft power cable with NEMA 6-15P plug; and the DConnect Box 2.
DOC68 base required for outdoor surface installation, ordered separately. The DOC68 makes the Diver an IP68 surface pump, installed below the water level.
Pressure tank and discharge pipe: DAB recommends an additional pressure tank to cut the number of starts and protect against pressure spikes, water hammer and thermal expansion; sized to your system and ordered separately.
Covered for 24 months from the date of purchase under DAB’s published warranty terms, evidenced by the invoice or delivery document.
Two identical Esybox Diver units can run as a pair. DAB supports two modes: one pump in place of the other, so water service never depends on a single unit; or the second pump supporting the first when demand is more than one can supply. Both sit in the same tank or well and share the same discharge.
Two Divers hold more pressure at the same flow. Each carries half the water, so each sits higher on its own curve. Read it off the published curve below: 24 GPM from a single Diver comes out at 36 psi; split between two units it comes out nearer 78 psi. The shut-off ceiling at zero flow is unchanged at 80 psi. Maximum two units.
Group figures are read from the published single-pump curve at the flow each pump carries. DAB publishes no combined performance table for the Diver, so size a pair from DAB selection data rather than by doubling the single-pump curve.

The figures below are the pressure this pump adds from where it sits in the tank or well. Its head has to lift the water to the highest fixture first, then supply the pressure you want there.
Pressure added in PSI, by flow
| Model | 0 GPM (Shut-off) | 12 GPM | 16 GPM | 20 GPM | 24 GPM | 28 GPM | 31 GPM (Max) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Esybox Diver | 77.9 | 77.9 | 74.9 | 56.3 | 35.5 | 16.1 | 0.9 |
Converted from the head DAB prints in feet (PSI = ft ÷ 2.31). DAB also tabulates 4 and 8 GPM; both equal shut-off, because the inverter holds the pressure flat out to 12 GPM.
Read it this way. Set to 50 psi with the tank at the same level as the house, the Diver delivers about 21 GPM. Every 10 ft the water has to climb costs 4.3 psi, so the same 50 psi at a fixture 30 ft above the water needs the pump to add 63 — and the table gives roughly 19 GPM there instead. Height comes off the flow you get, not the pressure you set.
Best operating range: 10 to 16 GPM. This is where the pump turns the most electricity into water pressure. Ask for more flow than it can deliver at your setting and it runs at full speed continuously, which is where motors and seals wear out. Sizing a pump to the house rather than to the headline numbers is what makes it last.
Zero flow is the shut-off point — a ceiling, not a working point. DAB gives the maximum flow as 31.7 GPM, where the head reaches zero; its table ends at 31 GPM. Any set point from 14 to 80 psi is settable below the curve. These figures are at full speed; the drive holds lower pressures by running slower. Feet of head = PSI × 2.31. Best operating range is derived from the published duty points — DAB does not publish an efficiency curve for this model. Curve tolerance to ISO 9906. Output in GPM at 30 and 50 PSI set pressure, by lift from the water level
| Set pressure | 0 ft | 10 ft | 20 ft | 30 ft | 40 ft | 50 ft | 60 ft |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 PSI set | 25 | 24 | 23 | 22.5 | 21.5 | 20.5 | 20 |
| 50 PSI set | 21 | 20 | 19 | 18.5 | 17.5 | 16.5 | 14 |
Calculated from DAB’s head-at-flow table (Esybox Diver Technical Sheet, at full speed); DAB publishes no output table for this pump. Each cell is the flow where DAB’s curve meets the lift from the water level plus the pressure (30 PSI = 69 ft, 50 PSI = 116 ft), interpolated between DAB’s printed points and rounded down to 0.5 GPM. — = beyond DAB’s printed range or under 1 GPM. Pipe friction is not included.
Enter your water level, pipe run and pressure. The calculator shows which DAB pumps cover the duty, with the headroom on each.
| Pressure setting | 14 to 80 psi, preset 43 psi. The setpoint must cover the lift from the water level to the highest fixture, or the pump reports a false dry-run fault. |
| Suction | Submersible, to a minimum suction depth of 4.3 in. Not a suction-lift pump; on the DOC68 base it runs only flooded, below the water level. |
| Immersion | 39 ft maximum with the standard 49 ft cable |
| Power | 230 V single phase, 5.5 A |
| Water temperature | 122 F maximum per the instruction manual |
| Pressure tank | The 0.04 L integrated vessel stops cycling on small leaks; it is not a storage reserve. DAB recommends an additional pressure tank, and a thermal expansion tank is still required at any storage water heater. |
