Overview

Dresser Style 91 service saddles make service connections on cast iron pipe quickly. High-strength Dresserloy straps are shaped to the pipe with an extra-wide bearing surface that will not cut or crush it, and the gasket, a Dresser compound for natural gas, is cemented in place. The range of fit is marked on each body.

Application: Natural gas service taps on steel and cast iron mains.

Working Pressure

150 psig, seal only, per Dresser’s gas product selection guide. The allowable pressure on a job also depends on the pipe, its condition, the service and the workmanship.
