A flanged coupling adapter is half coupling, half flange: the coupling end takes plain-end pipe with a gasket and follower, and the flange bolts to a valve, fitting, meter or pump. Reliability

Ductile iron ASTM A536 bodies, fabricated A285 Gr C steel flanges, high-strength low-alloy bolts to AWWA C111, shop coat with fusion epoxy optional.

Fit

JCM rates the 301 at 150 PSI. Standard FCAs do not restrain the pipe; the 301 restrained build anchors on steel, cast iron and ductile iron only (not A/C, HDPE or PVC).

Does a flanged coupling adapter restrain the pipe?

Standard FCAs do not. The JCM 301 restrained build uses set screws to anchor steel, cast iron and ductile iron pipe; they are not for A/C, HDPE or PVC.

What pressure is the JCM 301 rated for?

JCM rates the 301 for 150 PSI working pressure when installed per its instructions.

Are flange bolts and the flange gasket included?

Flange bolts are not included with any of the three. The 301 ships with its gaskets, including its lip-seal flange gasket; on the 303 and 306, provide the flange gasket for the mating flange.
