Description
The JCM 303 fabricated flanged coupling adapter joins plain-end pipe to flanged fittings, valves and equipment. Fabricated of carbon steel, it is available in large and small sizes with a standard ANSI/AWWA Class D (125 lb) flange; special or heavier flanges are built to order.
Each catalog number pairs the pipe OD with the flange size, so steel, ductile iron and cast iron ODs each have their own adapter.
Typical application: Connection, temporary or permanent: connection and insertion of valves, backflow preventers, flanged fittings and monitoring equipment; retrofit of inline fittings.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the flanged body, follower, gasket, and coupling bolts and nuts.
Flange bolts and flange gasket, ordered separately. The adapter bolts to the mating flange with standard flange bolts and a flange gasket.
Pipe anchorage, provided at install. The adapter does not restrain the pipe; anchor or restrain it where thrust could pull the pipe out.

12-Month Warranty
Covered for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Keep the dated invoice as proof of purchase.
Working Pressure
Rated by application. JCM rates the adapter for the flange class and pipe; send the pipe OD, pipe type and working and test pressures and we will obtain JCM's rating.

Before You OrderConfirm the pipe OD and the flange size and class before ordering.
Anchor the pipe: the coupling joins the pipe but does not restrain it, so JCM calls for proper anchorage wherever the pipe could move out of the coupling.
