Franklin Electric
Franklin Electric builds water-moving equipment across the entire system — groundwater to pressure boosting to wastewater — on three pillars: high-performance pumps, the motors it has built longer than anyone, and the drives that protect them. Watermain Supply stocks and supplies the residential and light-commercial surface side of that portfolio: jet pumps, self-priming irrigation and effluent pumps, high-performance boosters, inline pump controls, and all-in-one constant pressure systems. This page identifies the full Water Systems lineup and links every surface line we carry.
The Franklin Electric product information on this page — model numbers, series names, specifications, and application data — is published for informational and product-identification purposes only, and is drawn from Franklin Electric's own published literature. Franklin Electric, FPS, Little Giant, Pioneer Pump, VersaJet, VersaBoost, Turf Boss, BT4, and all related names, models, and specifications are trademarks of Franklin Electric Co., Inc., used here for identification only. Watermain Supply is an independent supplier and is not an authorized Franklin Electric distributor; Franklin Electric products are sourced directly through our own supply channels. For select other manufacturer lines, Watermain Supply is a factory-authorized distributor. Specifications may change without notice — confirm all models, ratings, and availability with us before ordering.
Franklin Electric organizes its Water Systems business around three things it does at scale — pumps, motors, and drives — and applies them across agriculture, commercial buildings, industry, mining, municipal, and residential water. Watermain Supply's focus inside that portfolio is the surface-pump and pressure-control equipment that lifts, transfers, and boosts water above ground.
What Watermain Supply carries from this catalog is the residential and light-commercial surface line: jet pumps for fresh-water supply from wells and cisterns, self-priming pumps for irrigation and effluent transfer, high-performance boosters for pressure boosting, inline controls that start and protect a pump on demand, and constant pressure systems that hold steady pressure as water use changes.
Every surface line below links to its product page on watermainsupply.com. The broader Franklin Water Systems categories — submersible motors, turbines, drives, and wastewater equipment — are shown further down for identification, so you can confirm exactly which product you're looking at before you request a quote.
Jet pumps supply fresh water to homes, cabins, farms, and light-commercial systems wherever the source has a suction lift of about 100 ft or less. Shallow-well models pull directly from sources down to roughly 25 ft; convertible models add a deep-well injector to reach depths of up to 100 ft. Franklin offers the line in everything from non-corrosive thermoplastic to heavy cast iron.
Heavy cast iron case with three 1 in outlets, a stainless impeller, and a 56C-frame motor. Ships with an internal shallow-well injector that swaps for a bypass plug for deep-well operation with a separately ordered injector kit — reaching depths well beyond a shallow-well pump. Rated to 150 PSI max working pressure and 140°F.
Cast iron volute and motor bracket with a screw-in injector and bypass plug for easy shallow-to-deep-well conversion. Stainless impeller on a 56J threaded-shaft motor for direct impeller mounting, carbon/ceramic seal, 30/50 factory switch. Deep-well injector kits ordered separately by lift range.
If your water sits within about 25 ft of the pump, a shallow-well jet (SWJ, VersaJet, VersaJet Pro) is the simplest answer. Past that depth you need a convertible pump (RM2 or C Series) plus a deep-well injector matched to the total lift — give us the depth to water and we spec the injector with the pump.
Self-priming pumps move large volumes from a lake, pond, or basin into an irrigation system or between locations — and reprime automatically after the first prime. Two families cover the range: clear-water irrigation and light-solids effluent.
The irrigation and sprinkler workhorse — lifts water from depths up to 25 ft, with a back pull-out design that services the pump without disturbing the plumbing. Rugged cast iron case, optional 304 stainless impeller, single- and three-phase motors. The 1–2 HP models flow to roughly 70 gpm with shut-off heads to 130 ft; the 3–5 HP models step up to 180 gpm class flows on a JM-frame motor.
Cast iron volute with a semi-open cast iron impeller and a blind-hole-tapped shaft — built to handle fertilizer, salt water, dirty water, and other liquids that clear-water pumps can't. Capacities to 126 gpm, heads to 70 ft, 75 psi max, higher-than-NEMA service factor motors. Sold complete or as a 56J C-face pump-end kit.
Reach for Turf Boss when the water is clean — lawn and turf sprinkler feeds, agricultural irrigation, general transfer. Reach for FBSE when the liquid is dirty, corrosive, or carries light solids — effluent, fertilizer, dewatering. Both self-prime and both handle a 25 ft-class lift.
Booster pumps raise pressure from a city main or private water system for irrigation, filtration, wash-down, RO, misting, and general plumbing. Franklin's stainless multi-stage families deliver high pressure in a compact body; the DR centrifugals cover close-coupled transfer and jockey-pump duty.
Every BT4 5–25 GPM hydraulic is also available as a bare pump end for a customer-supplied NEMA 56C keyed-shaft motor — the same Tri-Seal stainless hydraulics, 1/3–3 HP, 1 in NPT. Note these 56C pump ends are not compatible with the square-flange complete assemblies. View BT4 56C Pump Ends →
The last piece of a surface system is control: a smart device that starts the pump on demand and protects it, or a fully integrated constant-pressure unit that holds one set pressure no matter the draw.
Flow-activated controls that replace an external pressure tank and differential switch. They start the pump at 0.25 gpm of demand and protect it from dry run, dead-head, over-current, and locked-system faults, with a daily auto-run and automatic restart built in.
A complete constant-pressure system: an encapsulated 4 in submersible pump-motor with a Franklin-engineered variable frequency drive, integrated check valve, and expansion tank in one compact, quiet (as low as 45 dB) enclosure. Delivers 18–25 gpm to 80 psi, NSF 61/372 certified, controllable from the FE Connect app, and scalable to four units in parallel. 120 and 240V models.
An Inline Control is the economical way to make an existing pump behave like a constant-pressure system — proper pump selection matters, since shut-off pressure is realized within the system. VersaBoost Pro is the turnkey answer when you want pump, drive, tank, and check valve engineered together out of the box.
Beyond the surface pumps above, the Franklin Water Systems brochure spans the whole system. These categories are shown for identification — so you can confirm which product you're referencing — and may be sourced on request.
The categories in this section are presented for product identification and information. Availability, sourcing, and lead time vary by product — contact us to confirm what we can supply for your job.
The same surface families adapt across markets — here's where the lines we stock most often land, and the Franklin categories that round out each application.
