Control panel and contactor required, ordered separately. SubMonitor Connect is a component relay installed inside a complete control panel enclosure (Franklin: a customer-provided NEMA 3R panel); its Triac output closes the motor contactor.
External current transformers: required above 135 A; choose the CT kit for your motor current from the table below.
SubMonitor Connect is Franklin’s motor and pump protection relay for three-phase motors and pumps, 200 to 600 VAC, 1 to 700 HP. It monitors performance in real time and protects against dry well conditions, clogging, bound pumps and electrical power problems.
Setup takes nine steps: choose Submersible, Surface or Custom and the relay prepopulates its protection parameters. A detachable 32-character, backlit NEMA 4X display can be mounted on the panel front so conditions can be read safely while the motor runs, and the FE Connect app connects over Bluetooth for setup, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Franklin warrants these products for 1 year from the date of installation, but in no event more than 2 years from the date of manufacture. Franklin’s limited warranty does not cover performance affected by abrasive materials, corrosion due to aggressive conditions or improper voltage supply.
