Overview
Dresser Style 80 Ready-Pack sleeves enclose and permanently repair breaks, splits and holes in cast iron pipe. Set screws drive the enclosed steel followers to compress the end gaskets around the pipe, and enclosed side bolts seal the split. With a 1 to 3 in vent, the sleeve also serves as a low-cost tapping sleeve for a branch.
Application: Repair and branch tapping on standard-wall cast iron water mains.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the sleeve halves with gaskets, enclosed followers, set screws, side bolts and vent plug.
Pipe prepared before install: clean, round pipe where the gaskets seat, free of gouges and loose scale.
Anchoring, by others: the fitting seals but does not restrain the pipe.

Working Pressure
150 PSI MAOP in every size, where the pipe wall meets standard cast iron specifications. The allowable pressure on a job also depends on the pipe, its condition, the service and the workmanship.

Installation Notes
- Mark the pipe and stab it into the fitting to the full stab depth.
- Anchor the pipe joint wherever pull-out can occur.
