Simplex to quadplex variable speed booster systems for buildings, campuses and process water. DuraMAC IQ1000 and Micro, DAB Esybox Max, Grundfos Hydro Multi-E, Multi-B, MPC-E and CMBE, and Franklin Electric SpecPAK.

A commercial booster system holds one building pressure from night-time trickle to morning peak. Two or more variable speed pumps share the load, stage in as demand rises and rotate duty, so one pump can rest or be serviced while the others carry the building. The right system is set by two numbers, required boost and peak flow, and by how much standby the building needs.
Watermain Supply supplies packaged commercial systems from five manufacturers, with the tank, controls and accessories on one order. We check every selection against the manufacturer's published group curve before it ships, and a factory submittal is available on request. Call 1-888.510.4036. All products are genuine, factory-new equipment in original manufacturer packaging, sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Each line's full range, with its own group performance tables, submittals and accessories.

Size the duty first, then the pump count, then the line.
Setpoint = pressure at the highest fixture + 0.433 PSI per foot of rise to it + friction. Required boost = setpoint minus inlet pressure measured at peak demand, not at noon.
Use fixture units on Hunter's curve (IPC Table 604.3) for residential and multifamily, and the IAPMO Water Demand Calculator for light commercial. Peak simultaneous demand sizes the system, never the total connected load.
A duplex lets one pump rest. A triplex sized N+1 keeps full design flow with any one pump out of service, the usual choice for tall buildings and hotels. A quadplex gives the widest turndown.
Match the voltage in the building (single-phase, 208-230V or 460V three-phase) and the space in the plant room: wall-adjacent docks, a factory skid, or a panel with an HMI where the specification calls for one.
We sell both, and they suit different buildings. The duty decides.
Send the duty and we check it against the manufacturer's published data before you order.
We sell several brands in every category. If one is not the right fit, we will say so and quote the one that is.
Net-30 for qualified contractor, property management and municipal accounts.
Genuine repair parts and accessories, matched by model, so the job ships complete.
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most.
Choose the count by peak flow and standby. A duplex suits smaller buildings where one pump can rest. A triplex sized N+1 keeps design flow with one pump out of service. A quadplex gives the widest range from night flow to peak.
Add the pressure needed at the highest fixture, 0.433 PSI for each foot of rise to it, and friction. Subtract the inlet pressure measured at peak demand. The result is the boost the group must add at peak flow.
N pumps carry the design flow and one more stands by. If any pump fails or is serviced, the building keeps full pressure. It is the usual specification for hotels, high-rise residential and healthcare-adjacent buildings.
Packaged systems ship with their controls; most add a supplemental pressure tank. Each product page lists what ships and what is ordered separately, and the tank calculator sizes the tank for your group.
The Franklin Electric SpecPAK systems carry a PLC panel with an HMI. Send us the specification section and we will match it line by line across the brands we carry.
Yes. Send the floors, fixture count, inlet pressure at peak and available power to sales@watermainsupply.com or call 1-888.510.4036. We reply with a sized selection checked against the manufacturer's group curve.
