Complete 3 in, 4 in and 6 in and larger submersible well pumps from A.Y. McDonald, DAB, Franklin Electric and Grundfos. Filter by brand above, or use the guide below to narrow by well size, flow and power.

A submersible well pump sits below the water in the well casing and pushes water up the drop pipe. It is the pump for wells too deep for a jet pump, and it moves more water per horsepower because it never has to pull water by suction. Each pump is a pump end and a motor, sold assembled as one unit.
Watermain Supply supplies complete submersibles, pump ends, motors, control boxes and constant-pressure drives from four manufacturers. Every order can start with engineering-led sizing against the manufacturer's published curve: send your well depth, pumping level and the pressure you need, or call 1-888.510.4036. All products are genuine, factory-new equipment in original manufacturer packaging, sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Each tile opens that manufacturer's full line, with its own sizing tables and data sheets.

Four questions narrow the collection to a handful of pumps. Answer them in this order.
Measure the inside diameter of the casing. A 3 in pump (Grundfos SQ, DAB S3) fits a 3 in or larger casing, a 4 in pump fits a 4 in or larger casing, and 6 in and larger pumps carry the high flows of irrigation, municipal and commercial wells.
Pick the flow class from peak demand. Then pick the HP from total head: pumping water level, plus the rise to the tank or house, plus pressure at 2.31 ft per PSI, plus pipe friction. The performance table on each pump shows the flow it delivers at that head.
A 2-wire pump has its start components in the motor and needs no control box. A 3-wire pump needs a control box above ground, matched to the motor HP. Three-phase pumps need a magnetic starter or a drive rated for the motor.
A drive-run system holds one set pressure as taps open and close, and works with a smaller pressure tank. Look at the Grundfos SQE and CUE 100 packages, the Franklin Electric SubDrive and MagForce QuickPAK packages, and the A.Y. McDonald AutoPAC and AutoDrive.

Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most.
A shallow well jet lifts water by suction and works to about 25 ft. A submersible sits below the water and pushes it up, so it handles deep wells, higher flows and long runs, and it uses less power for the same water.
A 2-wire motor carries its start components inside the motor, so it connects straight to a pressure switch. A 3-wire motor keeps them in a control box above ground, which must match the motor HP and voltage. Each product page says which one a pump needs.
Add the pumping water level, the rise from the well head to the tank, the pressure you want at 2.31 ft per PSI, and pipe friction. That total head and your peak flow pick the pump; the performance table on each listing shows it, and the calculator does the arithmetic.
Yes. Pump ends, motors and control boxes are listed in their own collections, for repairs and for builds the complete pumps do not cover. Each pump end page names the motor it needs.
Drop pipe, drop cable and a splice kit sized to your setting depth, a check valve, a pressure tank and a pressure switch or drive. The What Ships section on each product page lists what is included and what is ordered separately.
Yes. Send the well depth, pumping level, casing size, the pressure you want and your power supply to sales@watermainsupply.com or call 1-888.510.4036. We check the duty against the manufacturer's curve before you order.
Send the well depth, pumping level, casing size and the pressure you need. We will reply with a sized selection from the brands we carry.
