DAB Pumps is an Italian pump manufacturer with a U.S. operation in Ladson, South Carolina. The Esybox line is DAB's integrated electronic pressurization platform: a multistage pump, permanent magnet or water-cooled motor, variable frequency drive, pressure and flow sensors, non-return valve, and expansion tank packaged in a single sound-absorbing enclosure. There is no separate pressure switch, no external tank, and no control panel to wire. Set the pressure on the display, connect suction and discharge, and the system holds constant pressure regardless of demand.

Compact residential booster
The smallest Esybox. A three-impeller VFD booster designed to pressurize a single residence, with a set-point range of 15 to 80 psi, self-priming suction to 26 ft, and a 1 in NPT inlet and outlet. Ships with a NEMA 5-15P plug for 115 V; swap to a NEMA 6-15P plug and the same unit runs on 208-240 V. Installs horizontally or vertically in tight spaces with limited air circulation.
Full-size residential booster
The original award-winning Esybox. A water-cooled multistage self-priming pump with inverter control, a 0.5 gallon integrated expansion tank, and a high-resolution LCD. It runs at roughly 43 dB, mounts horizontally or vertically, and its wireless module lets up to four units operate as a group without external control wiring. Delivery ports are covered with gasketed caps so you can select the suction and discharge orientation that fits the installation.
Commercial modular booster station
A vertical multistage electronic pump with a water-cooled permanent magnet motor, Wi-Fi module, and integrated non-return valve and tank. Esybox Max mounts on the Esydock Max docking station, which carries the pipe connections; one person can assemble a single, twin, triple, or quad station on site. Pumps synchronize wirelessly, alternate duty, and share load. Set point is adjustable from 15 to 174 psi. Configure locally on the display or remotely through the DConnect app.

Boost in psi is head in feet multiplied by 0.433. Multi-pump station flows are theoretical maximums at low head; actual combined flow depends on the system curve. Request the manufacturer curve for the duty point before committing a model to a specification.

The technology shared across the platform, and why it matters on an installation.
The inverter adjusts motor speed continuously to hold set-point pressure as demand changes, instead of cycling a fixed-speed pump against a pressure switch. Result: constant pressure at the tap, soft start and stop, lower energy draw at partial flow, and no water hammer.
Pressure sensor, flow sensor, check valve, and expansion tank are inside the enclosure. Suction in, discharge out, power on. Residential units plug into a standard receptacle; no control panel, pressure switch, or external tank is required.
Cooling by the pumped liquid eliminates the fan. That is why an Esybox runs at roughly 43 dB, can be installed in a recess or closet with limited air movement, and tolerates ambient temperatures to 122°F.
Dry-run protection, anti-freeze cycling, anti-blocking (periodic exercise after idle periods), anti-cycling on small leaks, overcurrent, over-temperature, and abnormal-voltage protection are standard on every model.
Esybox and Esybox Max units find each other over a built-in wireless link. Groups of up to four alternate duty, share load, and stage in as demand rises, with no interconnecting control wiring between pumps.
Esybox and Esybox Mini 3 prime from dry to 26 ft of suction lift, so they draw from an atmospheric tank, cistern, or shallow well without a separate lift pump.
Esybox Max includes Wi-Fi and pairs with the DConnect app for pressure, alarms, and consumption history from a phone. The Esy I/O expansion module adds float switch, pressure switch, and remote alarm inputs, plus Modbus connectivity to a building management system.

Both are residential constant-pressure boosters with integrated VFD, tank, and check valve. Esybox Mini 3 is a 1.1 HP, 115 V plug-in unit rated to 21.1 GPM and 180 ft of head for a single home. Esybox is a 2.1 HP, 230 V unit rated to 31.7 GPM and 213 ft, with a larger 0.5 gallon tank, quieter water-cooled operation, and wireless grouping of up to four pumps. Choose Esybox for larger homes, multi-story houses, or when you want twin-pump redundancy.
No. Every Esybox model has a built-in expansion tank sized for its VFD control logic, plus an integrated check valve and pressure and flow sensors. An external tank is not required. Some installers add a small external tank to reduce start frequency on systems with very small leaks; DAB's anti-cycling logic handles this in most cases.
Yes. The Mini 3 is dual voltage, 1x115-127 V or 1x208-240 V. It ships with a NEMA 5-15P plug for 115 V. Replace it with a NEMA 6-15P plug and the same unit operates at 208-240 V, drawing 4.8 A instead of 9.6 A.
Head in feet converts to pressure at 0.433 psi per foot. Esybox Mini 3 delivers up to 180 ft (about 78 psi) at low flow, Esybox up to 213 ft (about 92 psi), and Esybox Max up to 316 ft (about 137 psi) on the 85/120 T model. Boost falls as flow increases; see the performance tables above. Inlet pressure adds to pump boost up to the model's maximum working pressure.
Yes. Esybox and Esybox Mini 3 are self-priming to 26 ft of suction lift, so they can pull from an atmospheric storage tank, rainwater cistern, or shallow well. Esybox Max is designed for flooded suction through the Esydock Max and is normally fed from a pressurized main or a tank at or above pump level.
An Esydock Max docking station (single, twin, or triple) is required to connect piping; the pump unit alone has no pipe connections. Select the dock for the number of pumps, then add the Esy I/O module if you need float switch, pressure switch, remote alarm, or BMS integration.
Choose by the power available at the mechanical room. The 60/120 M (single phase, 208-240 V) and 60/120 T (three phase, 380-480 V) have identical hydraulics at 76 GPM and 227 ft. The 85/120 T is three phase only and is the model for high-rise applications needing 316 ft of head.
