Every Esybox Max pump is covered for 24 months from the date of purchase under DAB’s published warranty terms. DAB is part of the Grundfos Group, one of the largest pump manufacturers in the world, and genuine spare parts are available by serial number.
Built to Last
Water-cooled permanent magnet motor with no fan to fail, soft start and stop on every cycle, and duty rotation that shares run time across the group. Dry-run, anti-cycling, overcurrent, over-temperature and abnormal-voltage protection are standard on every pump.

Choose DAB Esybox Max when you need
- High head at modest flow. The 85/120 adds up to 136 psi from a 4.7 HP pump, the right shape for tall, narrow buildings.

Per-pump data from DAB Esybox Max US Technical Sheet 50250413 (01/2026). Group flows are DAB’s published group maximums at low head. Max boost is DAB’s maximum differential pressure, the most the pump adds on top of the inlet; the controller set point range is 15 to 174 psi, and boost falls as flow rises (see Performance).
Quick rule. Required boost above 97 psi: the 85/120 T is the only model that adds it. Single-phase building: 45/120 M or 60/120 M. Otherwise choose the 60/120 and let the pump count carry the flow.

Verdict. Esybox Max leads on pressure (to 136 psi), on pump count (up to four on one dock family) and on warranty. Grundfos CMBE TWIN is the better buy for a small duplex under about 50 GPM or on 115V. Franklin Inline SpecPAK wins where the specification calls for a UL 508A panel, a touchscreen HMI and 3 or 4 in grooved headers with all-stainless wetted parts, and its warranty extends to 36 months with the start-up form. Goulds Aquavar e-AB3 suits single-phase jobs under 80 psi of boost.

Sizing an Esybox Max System
Two numbers pick the system: required boost and peak flow. Get both right and the model and pump count follow.
1. Required boost
Setpoint = pressure needed at the highest fixture + 0.433 psi per foot of elevation to it + friction losses. Required boost = setpoint − inlet pressure measured at peak demand, not at noon.
2. Peak flow
Use fixture units on Hunter’s curve (IPC Table 604.3) for residential and multifamily, and the IAPMO Water Demand Calculator for light commercial. Peak simultaneous demand sizes the system, never the total connected load.
Worked example: 16-story residential tower. Top fixture needs 25 psi, 170 ft above the pump: 170 × 0.433 = 73.6 psi. Friction 12 psi. Setpoint = 25 + 73.6 + 12 = 110.6, call it 111 psi. City main at the 7:30 AM peak: 20 psi. Required boost = 111 − 20 = 91 psi at a peak of 63 GPM.
A 91 psi boost at 63 GPM rules out the 45/120, which adds at most 83 psi, and the 60/120 Duplex, which adds 87 psi at 63 GPM. The Esybox Max Duplex 85/120 T adds 119 psi at 63 GPM, a 28 psi margin. For full standby, the Triplex 85/120 T keeps that same 119 psi at 63 GPM with any one pump resting. The 91 psi boost sits at 67 percent of the model’s 136 psi maximum, inside the 70 percent rule. Add pressure-reducing valves on the lower floors to keep fixtures under 80 psi static.

3. Check the limits
Inlet pressure to 73 psi, system pressure to 174 psi, liquid to 104°F, ambient to 113°F. Confirm the power: the 85/120 and 60/120 T are three-phase 380-480V. If the required boost lands past 70 percent of the model’s maximum head at your design flow, step up a model or a pump.

More pumps, more pressure at the same flow. At 63 GPM the 60/120 duplex adds 87 psi and the triplex adds 98 psi, because each pump carries a smaller share of the flow and runs higher on its own curve. Only the shut-off pressure at zero flow is fixed by the model.

What warranty comes with a DAB Esybox Max?
Every Esybox Max pump is covered for 24 months from the date of purchase under DAB’s published warranty terms. The dock, Esy I/O module and pressure tank in a system carry their own manufacturer warranties. DAB is part of the Grundfos Group.
How much flow and pressure does an Esybox Max duplex, triplex or quadplex deliver?
Maximum flow is 153 GPM for a duplex, 229 GPM for a triplex and 306 GPM for a quadplex on the 60/120 and 85/120 models. The 85/120 adds up to 136 psi at low flow. Pressure falls as flow rises, so read your peak flow on the performance tables above.

When is a DuraMAC IQ1000 the better choice?
Choose DuraMAC IQ1000 when the job needs 3 in flanged manifolds, more than about 77 GPM per pump, or high flow at moderate boost on a factory skid. Choose Esybox Max for high head, tight rooms, single-phase groups and fast delivery.
Does an Esybox Max system need a control panel?
Each Esybox Max pump carries its own drive, sensors and controls, and the pumps pair wirelessly. A duplex, triplex or quadplex runs as one group with no separate control panel and no wiring between pumps.
Can I add pumps to an Esybox Max system later?
Yes. A group runs one to four pumps, and the dock sets the pump count. Plan the dock for the final size: single, twin and triple docks are available, and two twin docks make a quadplex.
Which Esybox Max model holds the highest pressure?
The 85/120 T. It has four impellers, 315 ft of shut-off head and a 136 psi maximum boost from a 4.7 HP motor on 380-480V three phase. It is the model for buildings over 14 floors.
How does Esybox Max compare with Grundfos CMBE TWIN and Franklin Inline SpecPAK?
Esybox Max adds more pressure, to 136 psi, and groups up to four pumps without a panel. CMBE TWIN suits small duplexes and 115V. Inline SpecPAK suits specifications that call for a UL 508A panel and grooved 3 or 4 in headers.
Is Esybox Max approved for drinking water?
Yes. Esybox Max is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 and carries UL and CSA listings.
Has the Esybox line won design awards?
