The Grundfos SCALA2 is a fully integrated, variable-speed pressure booster. An integrated pressure sensor and inverter continuously adjust motor speed to hold a constant set point across the whole home, delivering soft starts, high efficiency and steady flow even as inlet pressure varies.
The all-in-one design bundles pump, permanent-magnet motor, diaphragm tank, sensor, controller and check valves in one aluminum-and-composite housing. Self-priming to 26 ft of lift, water-cooled, and suited to demanding municipal feeds with an adjustable set point and higher chloride tolerance. Ports are 1 in NPT on both suction and discharge.
