Repair clamps, couplings, flanged coupling adapters, tapping sleeves, service saddles and restraints for water, wastewater and gas mains, from Smith-Blair and Dresser.

Every repair starts with the pipe's measured outside diameter. Cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC and asbestos-cement pipe of the same nominal size have different ODs, so a part chosen by nominal size alone can miss. Measure with a pi tape, note the pipe material and the damage, and the product type and size follow.
Watermain Supply supplies Smith-Blair and Dresser repair and joining products, with data sheets and the manufacturers' cross reference on every line. Send the pipe material, measured OD and the damage, and we will match the part, or call 1-888.510.4036. All products are genuine, factory-new equipment in original manufacturer packaging, sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Smith-Blair and Dresser side by side for each job.

Four checks before you order. The product page confirms each one.
Wrap a pi tape around the pipe and read the outside diameter, then check it against the OD range on the listing. Cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC and AC pipe differ at the same nominal size.
A repair clamp seals a hole, crack or leaking joint on pipe that is otherwise sound. A coupling joins two pipe ends, so it replaces a cut-out section or joins pipes of different materials or ODs.
Check the working pressure on the listing for your size. Choose the gasket for the service: nitrile (Buna-N) for gas and hydrocarbons, EPDM or SBR for potable water where the listing says so.
Most clamps and couplings seal but do not restrain. Anchor the pipe, or choose a restrained product, where thrust could pull the joint apart.
Every Smith-Blair and Dresser product, and the gaskets and parts that service them.
Send the duty and we check it against the manufacturer's published data before you order.
We sell several brands in every category. If one is not the right fit, we will say so and quote the one that is.

Straight answers to the questions buyers ask us most.
Wrap a pi tape around the pipe where the part will sit and read the outside diameter directly. If you have no pi tape, measure the circumference and divide by 3.1416. Note the pipe material too, because ODs differ by material at the same nominal size.
Use a repair clamp to seal a hole, crack or leaking joint on pipe that is otherwise sound. Use a coupling to join two pipe ends, for example after cutting out a damaged section or joining two pipe materials.
Many styles do the same job, and the manufacturers' cross reference linked on this page lists equivalents. Equivalents match by function; OD ranges and pressure ratings differ, so check the listing for your pipe.
Dresser gas couplings, fittings and hot tap sleeves are built for gas service, and each listing states its rating. Many water repair products are not rated for gas, so check the listing before using any part on a gas line.
Most couplings and clamps seal the pipe but do not restrain it against pull-out. Anchor the pipe, or choose a restrained flanged coupling adapter or joint restraint where thrust is present.
Yes. Send the pipe material, measured OD, damage and service to sales@watermainsupply.com or call 1-888.510.4036, and we will match the Smith-Blair or Dresser part.
Send the pipe material, measured OD and what you are repairing. We will match the part and confirm the fit.
