Overview
Dresser Style 65 compression fittings install on plain-end steel pipe without threading, flaring or exact fitting: loosen the end nuts, stab the pipe in and tighten the nuts. The resilient gasket keeps the joint flexible, absorbing expansion, contraction and vibration, and the pipe keeps its full wall thickness at every joint.
Application: Steel water and service lines, 1/2 through 2 in.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the fitting, assembled, with Armored Grade 27 gaskets, retainer rings and end nuts.
Pipe prepared before install: clean, round pipe where the gaskets seat, free of gouges and loose scale.
Anchoring, by others: the fitting seals but does not restrain the pipe.
Genuine Dresser equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
12-Month Dresser Warranty
Covered for 12 months from the date of purchase under Dresser’s published warranty terms.
Working Pressure
Malleable iron bodies conform to ANSI specifications for 150 PSI rated fittings. Maximum service temperature is 150°F; Dresser recommends the Style 165 above that. The allowable pressure on a job also depends on the pipe, its condition, the service and the workmanship.

- Mark the pipe and stab it into the fitting to the full stab depth.

Before You Order. Ells and male adapters are galvanized; couplings come galvanized (-003) or E-coated (-001). Anchor the pipe: the fitting provides a pressure seal only, and Dresser requires the joint to be anchored wherever pipe pullout could occur.
