Dresser Universal style 90 compression fitting provides restraint in addition to sealing. These style 90 fittings have lock ring that bites on the pipe and prevent pipe pull out. Universal style 90 fittings are generally used in gas applications, burried lines and application where pipe pull out can be an issue. Universal style 90 couplings comes in black finish and are considered 300 fitting. They are much heavier compared to style 65 fittings.
