Franklin Electric Bare-Shaft Centrifugal Pump - Driver Not Included

A frame-mount pump is the pump end and bearing frame only: you couple it to your own motor, engine or drive. Franklin builds the frame with a heavy-duty bearing housing and an oversized shaft on max-life bearings, and the frames take belt or direct drive, mounted vertically or horizontally.

FAOT and FACT (end suction). Cast iron volute with tapped openings for priming, venting and draining; open-faced cast iron impeller on the FAOT, closed on the FACT; mechanical seal with carbon/ceramic faces, Buna elastomers and 300-series stainless components. Used for water circulation, booster service, liquid transfer, spraying systems, jockey pump duty and general service.

FBSTF (self-priming). Same cast iron volute with priming, venting and draining ports, open-faced cast iron impeller, and a mechanical seal with carbon/ceramic faces, FKM elastomers and 300-series stainless components. Used in irrigation, construction, mining, commercial, municipal and light industrial work.

XS frame mount. Heavy-duty cast iron volute with a back pull-out design that can be rotated for installation, a double-keyed enclosed cast iron impeller, packed box or mechanical seal, replaceable shaft sleeve, grease fittings and external grease lubrication. Capacities to 1,000 GPM, heads to 260 ft, 250 psi maximum working pressure and 212 °F maximum temperature.

Franklin publishes these as curves at a nominal 3600 and 1800 RPM, so this page does not reproduce figures read off a plot. A frame-mount pump runs at whatever speed you drive it, which is the point of buying one: send us the flow, the head and the speed you plan to run and we will select from the published curves.
