Included: the Franklin pump end and motor, assembled as one complete pump.
Control box required for 3-wire builds, ordered separately. Franklin pairs each 3-wire build with the control box shown in the Models & Performance table; order it from our Franklin 3-wire control box listing. 2-wire builds run without a control box.
Drop cable and splice kit: sized to your setting depth and ordered separately.
The Series V (Series Five) submersible pump uses hydraulics that improve efficiency and minimize wear, even when pumping abrasives. Discharge head and motor bracket come in 300 Series stainless steel or thermoplastic, with a removable check valve system. Franklin builds it in four performance ranges, 10, 15, 20 and 25 GPM, from 1/2 to 5 HP.
Covered by Franklin Electric’s Limited Warranty for 1 year from the date of original purchase.

Find your horsepower in the row, then read across. Total head is the lift from the pumping water level, plus the pressure you want at the tank (2.31 ft for every PSI), plus friction in the drop pipe. The output tables give the flow you get at a 30/50 PSI pressure switch for your depth to water.

Total head read from the published curves in Franklin’s FPS Residential Submersible Catalog (MF5060), pp. 31, 34, 37 and 40, digitized and rounded down to whole feet, at the plotted flows nearest 20%, 50% and 75% of where the curves end. 0 GPM is Franklin’s printed shut-off. Feet of head = PSI × 2.31. Franklin’s published curves and printed tables differ here: the 15 GPM 3/4 HP curve reads about 8 ft above Franklin’s printed output tables on average; the 20 GPM 3/4 HP curve reads 201 ft near zero flow against the printed 188 ft shut-off; the 20 GPM 1 HP curve reads 275 ft near zero flow against the printed 260 ft shut-off; the 20 GPM 1-1/2 HP curve reads 346 ft near zero flow against the printed 375 ft shut-off. The head table follows the published curve (re-read from Franklin’s vector chart data); the 0 GPM column and the output tables follow the printed figures.

Output tables as printed in MF5060, pp. 32-33, 35-36, 38-39 and 41, at the 30 and 50 PSI rows; Franklin rounds them to whole GPM. Drop-pipe friction is not included (manufacturer note). — marks a point Franklin does not print.
The 20 and 25 GPM curves rise a few feet above the printed shut-off at low flow before they fall, so a low-flow column can read slightly above the shut-off.
