Overview

Field-installable parts for the Cerus X-Drive. The pressure transducers are 4-20 mA units in 100, 200 and 300 psig ranges, which give the drive the pressure signal it needs for constant-pressure control. The communication cards add Modbus TCP/IP, or FE Connect over Bluetooth for phone-based setup, monitoring and troubleshooting. The I/O cards add digital inputs, transistor outputs or relay outputs for interlocks, level switches and remote signals. The keypad mounting bracket supports the X-Drive display when it is mounted remotely on a standard CAT-5 cable.

Franklin also lists field upgrade kits that add a hand-off-auto switch, run and fault lights or a speed potentiometer to an X-Drive panel after it is installed — ask us if you want a panel upgraded rather than replaced.
