The Dresser Style 88 is a family of boltless seal-only compression couplings and fittings engineered specifically for copper tubing connections. Where conventional copper joinery requires cutting, squaring, flaring, soldering, or brazing — the Style 88 eliminates all of it. Simply stab the tubing into the fitting and tighten the end nuts. The Dresser gasket sealing principle delivers an absolutely tight joint on every connection, without torches, solder, or special prep work.

Each Style 88 coupling consists of a brass body (optional steel body available), two rugged brass end nuts, and two resilient Armored® gaskets protected against damage by gasket retainer cups. The gaskets are made from Dresser's exclusive rubber compound with helical coil armors for superior sealing integrity and long service life. Male adapters and service head adapters are also available to extend the system into a range of connection configurations. All castings are 100% air-tested before shipment to assure a leak-proof seal.
