Franklin Electric BT4 Cast Iron Booster Pump

The BT4 is a low to medium capacity, high pressure multi-stage pump — the right shape for jobs that need more pressure than flow: boosting city or private water pressure, pressure washing, poultry houses, spray and evaporative cooling, misting, irrigation and general plumbing.

This listing is the cast iron build: cast iron motor bracket with a support foot for horizontal or vertical mounting and a carry handle, stainless steel discharge head, Franklin’s Tri-Seal floating stage stack with acetal impellers and modified PPO diffusers on a 300-series stainless shaft and shell, and a mechanical seal with phenolic and ceramic faces. The square-flange ODP motor comes off through the back pull-out design without disturbing the plumbing. Maximum fluid temperature 120 °F.

The stainless build of the same pump is listed separately. Choose cast iron for cost on clean, non-aggressive water; choose stainless where corrosion, treated water or reverse osmosis duty is involved.
