Vertical, multistage centrifugal pump with suction and discharge ports on the same level, so it drops into a straight pipe run. The pump head and base are ductile cast iron (ASTM A536 65-45-12); chambers, impellers and shaft are stainless steel AISI 304.
The CR 155 frame is rated at 820 GPM. The family number is Grundfos’s nominal duty in cubic metres per hour, not a GPM figure — size the pump from the performance table below, not from the model number.
6 models are offered, from CR 155-1-1 to CR 155-3-2, covering 25 to 75 HP on NEMA C-face TEFC motors (three-phase). Models with a -1, -2 or -3 suffix use that many reduced-diameter impellers to trim head between full stage counts. Connections are 6 in ANSI flanges (150 lb or 300 lb class, by model).
Each part number is a complete pump: pump end, motor, coupling, coupling guard and cartridge shaft seal, factory assembled.
Not included: ANSI companion flanges (6 in) — order separately. Motor starter or VFD, overload protection, pressure switch or sensor, isolation valves, check valve and foundation bolts are also not included.
To run it needs: a three-phase supply matching the motor voltage shown in the selected option, a correctly sized starter with overload protection, flooded suction or adequate NPSH, and a level, rigid foundation. These are fixed-speed pumps; for integrated variable-speed control see the CRE range.

Find the head you need in feet at your flow and pick the first model that meets it. Points are read from the Grundfos 60 Hz curve for each model at 20%, 50% and 75% of its maximum flow; shut-off is the head at zero flow, not a working point.
