Baker Dewatering Pumps: Mini Mac & Handymac Buyer’s Guide

Portable pumping for field work and household transfers — two very different tools for two very different jobs.

What Is a Dewatering Pump?

A dewatering pump removes unwanted water from a work site, excavation, utility vault, or any location where water accumulates and interferes with work. Unlike sump pumps designed for permanent residential installation, dewatering pumps are portable, rugged, and built for field conditions. Baker offers two specialized dewatering products: the Mini Mac transfer pump kit for small jobs and the Handymac for heavy-duty, battery-powered field dewatering.
