The Monitor Pump Rod (sucker rod) provides the mechanical connection between the hand pump and the plunger in the cylinder. The HA20 is a 7/16 in plated rod, 7 ft long, threaded at both ends.
Order enough rod so the cylinder sits about 15 ft to 20 ft below water for deep-well applications, plus one additional rod coupling to make the final connection. The rod installs inside 1-1/4 in supply pipe.
