Included: the pump end with its built-in check valve; no motor.
Motor required, ordered separately. A Franklin 6 in or 8 in submersible motor of the same horsepower, per the motor size of the build you select, plus the motor control it needs (control box, starter or drive).
Drop cable and splice kit: sized to your setting depth and ordered separately.
The SR Series pumps are designed specifically to meet a variety of applications. With stainless steel impellers and diffusers, a stainless steel shell to maintain alignment, and heavy-investment cast stainless steel suction and discharge brackets, the SR Series pumps are equipped to operate efficiently and handle the most demanding conditions.
The 304 stainless steel build is standard; Franklin also builds the SR in 316 stainless steel for corrosive water.
Franklin Electric warrants its new products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of installation or 2 years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first, when installed in clean, potable water applications. Franklin’s warranty does not cover applications pumping saltwater or other corrosive liquids.

Open your flow class and find the model that matches your build. Total head is the lift from the pumping water level, plus the pressure you need at the top (2.31 ft for every PSI), plus friction in the column pipe. Pick the model whose head at your flow covers that total.

Total head read from the published curves in Franklin’s FPS Submersible Catalog (Mi1007), 6 in and 8 in SR Series section, digitized and rounded down to whole feet, at the plotted flows nearest 20%, 50% and 75% of where the curves in each class end. Franklin prints no shut-off figure for this series; the 0 GPM column reads each curve at its first plotted point. Franklin prints no output tables for this series. Feet of head = PSI × 2.31.
Builds without a published curve in the catalog: 400SR100F86-1184, 400SR100F86-1284, 400SR125F86-1484, 400SR125F86-1584, 475SR100F86-0986, 475SR100F86-1086, 475SR125F86-1286, 475SR125F86-1386, 475SR150F86-1586. Performance for these builds is confirmed on request.
Best operating range: Franklin shades the recommended operating range on each published curve and prints no figures for it. The curves are in the image gallery.
