Mounting racks need steel pipe, supplied locally: one or two 4 in SCH40 steel vertical poles, plus one 4 in SCH40 steel pipe as the horizontal cross support beam, cut to length for the number of panels (see the table).
Array wiring: PV wire, connectors and the DC disconnect are sized to the array; Franklin’s installation quick reference shows typical 600 V and 800 V single-string and two-string disconnect wiring.
Panels, pole-mount racks and accessories Franklin lists for its SolarPAK systems. The 72-cell panels are rated 320 W or greater — Franklin notes panel manufacturer and wattage vary with availability. Pole-mount racks carry 2 to 6 panels on 4 in SCH40 steel pipe; the DC disconnect, mounting bracket, Wi-Fi module and AC/DC power converter complete a Fhoton or SubDrive Solar installation.
Every option ends with the Franklin order number. Size the array to the SolarPAK with Franklin’s SolarPAK Selector, or send us your package and site and we size it.
Franklin warrants its products for 12 months from the date of installation, but no more than 24 months from the date of manufacture.
