Included: the C1 pump end and its 1/2 HP Franklin 2-wire motor, assembled, with a heavy-duty 300 V, 10 ft SJOOW jacketed lead and a removable 5 in base.
No control box needed. The 2-wire motor carries all its electrical components inside the motor (owner’s manual 106642101).
Fused disconnect or circuit breaker, discharge pipe and any lead extension: sized to your installation and ordered separately; the owner’s manual calls for a fused disconnect or circuit breaker at or near the pump.
Designed for gray water and filtered effluent service, the C1 Series cistern pump delivers high performance and long life in less than ideal water conditions. It passes solids up to 1/8 in without harm to its internal hydraulic components.
Its bottom suction design draws the cistern down as far as possible without compromising durability, and it needs no flow induction sleeve. It is intended for a cistern or tank in agricultural, residential and commercial installations.
Franklin considers these products for warranty for 12 months from the date of installation or 24 months from the date of manufacture, whichever occurs first. Franklin notes that freezing of the pump or system plumbing, and supply voltage outside ±10% of the motor nameplate, void the warranty.

All four C1 models run on the same 1/2 HP motor; they differ in flow and pressure. Find the head you need (the lift from the water level, plus the pressure you want at the tap, 2.31 ft for every PSI) and read across to the flow.

Read from the published family curve in Franklin’s C1 Series Cistern Pumps brochure (M1698), digitized and rounded down to whole feet. Franklin prints no shut-off figure for the C1, so the table starts at the first plotted point, 1 GPM; the brochure states a maximum shut-off pressure of over 100 PSI. Curves end at 17, 33, 34 and 43 GPM. Bold = the last column that model’s curve reaches; — = beyond it. Feet of head = PSI × 2.31.
Best operating range: Franklin prints no figures for it; the family curve is in the image gallery.
