Franklin Electric Inline 400 Repair Parts

The Inline 400 is a compact pressure boosting system: a Franklin pump and motor with simple flow-based controls, giving a typical boost of up to 40 psi. Its symmetrical body mounts vertically or horizontally, which is why it fits where a tank-and-switch booster will not — city water boosting, pressurising from a cistern, re-pressurising after filtration and irrigation boosting.

The unit is rated 1/3 HP and comes in 115V and 230V models with a cord connection. Its electronics include two pressure switches that guard against over-pressure and a flow switch so the pump runs only on demand, with protection against over and under voltage, dry run and over temperature.
