Overview
Franklin's simplex grinder pump control panels are designed exclusively for the IGP Grinder Series, in lift pump chambers and sewage ejector basins. The panel controls the pump and warns of high liquid levels.
The enclosure is corrosion-resistant NEMA 4X fiberglass, waterproof, with padlock provision. A Hand-Off-Auto switch gives manual, off or automatic operation, three floats (sold separately) control the on, off and alarm functions, and an alarm on/off switch controls power to the audible and visual alarm. Wiring lands on a color-coded terminal strip.
Pick the panel by the pump. A panel with start components carries the capacitor starting parts a single-phase manual pump needs: the IGP-M and IGPH-M. A panel without start components suits automatic pumps, which carry their own (IGP-A and IGPH-A), and is the panel Franklin wires to automatic grinders in the PowerSewer station. Then match the panel FLA to the pump: IGP-M 13.9 A, IGPHR 16 A, IGPH 18.5 A.
