Overview
The IGP Series Retrofit Kit is a direct simplex replacement grinder for positive displacement grinder systems. It lifts out the old unit's job in one assembly: a 2 HP, 3450 RPM automatic grinder pump with mechanical float switch, a 1-1/4 in cast iron anti-siphon/check valve, 1-1/4 in NPT piping and an adjustable alarm float switch preset at the factory, all hung from an epoxy-coated steel cover.
Electrical connections are made in a dry top housing, and the kit plugs in through a quick-disconnect plug. Match the plug to the existing basin wiring. The kit is built with a black or a gray plug; where the plug on site is the other one, Franklin offers 1 ft adapter harnesses (115156 and 115159) to convert between them.
The IGP-A-RFKS is the standard-head kit on the IGP-A pump. The IGPHR-A-RFK is Franklin's high-head kit, built on the IGPHR dual-stage pump.

Performance — Will It Do What You Need?
Find your total dynamic head across the top: the vertical lift from the basin to the highest point of the force main plus friction in the pipe. The figure below it is gallons per minute at that head.
