The Smith-Blair EZW Maxi-Grip restraint reducing coupling joins and restrains plain-end pipe of two different outside diameters - steel to ductile iron, PVC to steel, old cast sizes to new pipe - in one stab-fit assembly with no thrust blocks or tie rods. Each end carries its own timing gasket and case hardened grip ring sized to its pipe, so both ends seal first and then restrain as the followers are tightened.
Rated for steel, ductile iron, PVC, and MDPE or HDPE with an internal stiffener (required on all PE). Available with standard low alloy or 304 stainless hardware. Select by the large end x small end pipe OD combination; for same-OD joints see the EZW straight restraint coupling.
