Grundfos MMS rewindable submersible motors for heavy-duty 8 in and larger wells: the MMS8000 (40 to 150 HP, 8 in) and MMS10000 (175 to 250 HP, 10 in), all 460V three-phase with 13,000 lb of thrust, each priced and supplied with its motor lead. They are the motors behind the Grundfos SP 385S to 1100S pumps and the 90S sleeve builds, in standard construction or in 316 stainless steel for aggressive water.
Included: the motor and its motor lead (Grundfos prices the MMS motors with lead).
Pump end required, ordered separately. An 8 in or 10 in SP pump end of the motor horsepower: 385S, 475S, 625S, 800S or 1100S.
Magnetic starter or drive required, ordered separately. Rated for the motor, with three-leg ambient-compensated quick-trip overload protection (see Before You Buy).
Drop cable and splice kit: sized to your setting depth and ordered separately.
24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture. In Grundfos's words, products are “warranted to the original user only to be free of defects in material and workmanship”; the full terms are in the installation and operating instructions on the Data Sheet tab.
