Grundfos 1100S SP 10 in Submersible Pump End

The Grundfos 1100S is the 1,100 GPM class of the SP 10 in submersible range, sold here as the pump end alone: stainless steel chambers and impellers with a built-in check valve, ready to mount on a submersible motor. Pump and impellers are AISI 304 stainless steel. Use it to rebuild an SP installation on a sound motor, or to build a pump around a motor you already have; the complete 1100S pumps with Grundfos motors are listed separately.

Every 1100S pump end has a Grundfos motor flange and a 6 in NPT discharge. Match the motor horsepower and diameter in the selector; send us the motor model and we will confirm the fit.

Each pump end builds one pump for one well. For a duty/standby pair, or a flow outside the 1100S range, send us the duty: the SP 10 in pump ends run from 625 to 1,100 GPM, and we will size the set with you.

The model code reads flow class, horsepower and stages: 1100S1500-4A is the 1100S for a 150 HP motor with 4 stages. In the selector, choose the motor horsepower and diameter first, then the model; each model shows the head it adds at 1,100 GPM. Order by part number; every build is in the Models & Ratings table.

• Letters after the stage count (for example -3AA) mark builds with reduced-diameter impellers; the head figure for each build is in the selector and the Models & Ratings table.
• Several models come in more than one motor size under different part numbers; the selector shows the motor size with the horsepower.
• 10 in motor builds (18BV0005, 18BV0006, 18BV00A5, 18BV00A6, 18BV00B5, 18BV00B6): the Grundfos price list says to attach these to a Grundfos motor only; for another motor, ask us and we will consult the factory.
• 1100S2500-6, -6A and -6AA are the price list and Product Center names; the Grundfos SP data booklet prints the same 250 HP, 6-stage builds as 1100S2600-6, -6A and -6AA. The head figures shown come from those booklet rows.
• 1100S1250-3 (part 18BG0003): the price list prints 195 in its minimum-well column; every other 1100S row and Grundfos Product Center give a 10 in well, so 10 in is shown.
• 1100S1750-5AA, 1100S2000-5, 1100S2000-5A: not in the Grundfos data booklet tables for their motor size, so no head figure is shown; ask us for the curve.

Every 1100S is rated at 1,100 GPM. The nominal head in the Models & Ratings table is the total head Grundfos publishes for each model at that rated flow, in feet: from 77 ft on the smallest build to 703 ft on the largest. Pick a model whose nominal head covers your pumping level plus the pressure you need at the surface (2.31 ft per psi) plus pipe friction.
