Overview
The Grundfos MP 204 is an electronic motor protection unit for single-phase and three-phase pump motors. It is used stand-alone or with a CU 362 control unit via GENIbus, and covers motors up through 75 HP directly; above 75 HP, three external current transformers are required.
A basic setting of the MP 204 can be made on the control panel. Additional functions must be set with the R100 remote control, Grundfos GO or PC Tool Water Utility.
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: one MP 204 electronic motor protector (96079927).
Required: a single- or three-phase pump motor and its starter or contactor. Motors above 75 HP also need three external current transformers (Grundfos 96095275), ordered separately.
Setup: basic settings at the unit's control panel; full settings with the Grundfos R100 remote, Grundfos GO or PC Tool Water Utility.
Genuine Grundfos equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Warranty
24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture. In Grundfos's words, products are “warranted to the original user only to be free of defects in material and workmanship”; the full terms are in the installation and operating instructions on the Data Sheet tab.
