The Smith-Blair EZW seal and restraint line cap closes an open pipe end and restrains itself against line pressure with built-in gripping members - no strapping, blocking, or welding. It stabs onto the cleaned pipe end and torques down like an EZW coupling, making it the fast answer for capping abandoned lines, pressure testing sections, and temporary end-of-line closures that must hold pressure safely.
Suitable for steel, ductile iron, PVC, and PE with an internal stiffener. Available with standard low alloy or 304 stainless hardware. Caps are supplied with a threaded outlet with plug for pressure testing and purging; caps cannot be converted to standard seal and restraint couplings.
