Description
The JCM 610 Sur-Grip fitting restrainer anchors IPS PVC, C900 PVC, HDPE and ductile iron pipe to mechanical joint fittings and other fittings provided with anchor lugs. A serrated ring grips the pipe and T-head bolts tie it to the fitting.
From 14 through 30 in it is a fabricated design with restraining rods, for C900 PVC and HDPE pipe.
Sur-Grip restrainers are rated for 235 PSI on DR18 PVC pipe and equal to the pipe rating on other classes, and for 350 PSI on ductile iron pipe with a 2:1 safety factor.
Typical application: Restraint: anchors the pipe to mechanical joint and lugged fittings.

Working Pressure
350 PSI on ductile iron; 235 PSI on DR18 PVC. JCM rates Sur-Grip restrainers for 350 PSI on ductile iron pipe with a 2:1 safety factor, and for 235 PSI on DR18 PVC pipe, equal to the pipe rating on other PVC classes.
