Description
The JCM 203 steel transition coupling joins plain-end pipe of the same nominal size but different outside diameters, especially old cast iron pipe to ductile iron pipe.
A 7 in middle ring 0.38 in thick carries the transition between the two ODs, and the coupling meets or exceeds ANSI/AWWA C219. For smaller sizes, see the JCM 212 ductile iron transition coupling.
Typical application: Connection or repair: joins plain-end pipe, transitions between two ODs, installs a repair section.

Rated by application. Built to ANSI/AWWA C219; send the two ODs, pipe types and pressures and we will obtain JCM's rating.

Before You OrderMeasure both pipe ODs before ordering.
Anchor the pipe: the coupling joins the pipe but does not restrain it, so JCM calls for proper anchorage wherever the pipe could move out of the coupling.
