Description
The JCM 201 steel coupling is an easy way to join plain-end pipe with standard steel dimensions: steel, galvanized, PVC and similar pipe. It is rated for 250 PSI working pressure and meets or exceeds ANSI/AWWA C219 for bolted sleeve-type couplings.
Choose the sleeve length and bolt count for the size, then the finish and bolts: standard finish with low-alloy bolts, fusion epoxy coating, or stainless steel bolts.
Typical application: Connection or repair, temporary or permanent: joins plain-end pipe and installs a repair section of pipe.
Key Features
- No beveling, threading or exact pipe alignment needed; installs with a wrench
- Gaskets absorb vibration and pipe movement and let curves be laid with straight pipe
- Simple, rugged and serviceable
- Meets or exceeds ANSI/AWWA C219
- SBR gaskets standard; Buna-N and EPDM available
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the middle ring, two followers, two gaskets, and the track bolts and nuts.
Pipe anchorage, provided at install. The coupling joins but does not restrain the pipe; anchor it wherever the pipe could pull out.
Genuine JCM Industries equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
12-Month Warranty
Covered for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Keep the dated invoice as proof of purchase.
Working Pressure
250 PSI working pressure. JCM rates the 201 steel coupling for 250 PSI working pressure. Allowable pressure in service also depends on pipe type and condition, deflection and installation.

Before You OrderConfirm the pipe OD at both ends before ordering.
Anchor the pipe: the coupling joins the pipe but does not restrain it, so JCM calls for proper anchorage wherever the pipe could move out of the coupling.
