Description

The JCM 159 cap sleeve goes over an abandoned corporation stop and permanently seals the service area, giving a long-term watertight seal and preventing infiltration at the discarded service. Standard fittings seal over 3/4 through 2 in direct service connections.

Choose the cap size to clear the corporation stop (3 in cap, 5 in high, or 6 in cap, 8 in high), then the type: T1 all 304 stainless with a full circumferential gasket; T2 carbon steel with shop-coat primer, low-alloy bolts and an outlet seal gasket; T3 all 304 stainless with an outlet seal gasket.

Typical application: Permanently sealing abandoned corporation stops and service connections.

250 PSI working pressure; 300 PSI hydrostatic test. JCM rates the 159 cap sleeve for 250 PSI working pressure; higher pressures are available from JCM on request.
