Description
The JCM 135 all stainless steel collar leak clamp is a quick, permanent repair for leaking PVC solvent weld joints and threaded coupling joints, made without cutting out fittings or modifying the system.
It installs with half the clamp over the collar and half on the pipe spigot. An extra 1/4 in layer of gasket under half the clamp width steps down to the smaller pipe OD where it butts against the collar, so one clamp seals across the joint. The step accommodates coupling walls thicker than 5/32 in and thinner than 5/16 in.
All stainless steel construction adds corrosion resistance for hot or corrosive soils.
Typical application: Repair, temporary or permanent: leaking threaded and solvent weld joints.

Pipe anchorage, provided at install. The clamp seals the joint but does not restrain the pipe.

Rated by application. JCM rates the pressure capability of this clamp for each installation: it depends on pipe size and type, the type and extent of the damage or joint condition, line content, temperature and installation. Send us the pipe OD and type and the working and test pressures, and we will obtain JCM's rating and a submittal for your application.

Before You OrderConfirm the pipe OD and the joint type (bell end class or Schedule 40 coupling) before ordering.
Anchor the pipe: the clamp seals the full circumference but does not hold the pipe against lateral movement, so JCM calls for proper anchorage wherever the pipe could move out of the clamp.
