Description
The JCM 106 bell joint leak clamp repairs leaking rubber-joint IPS PVC bells (SDR 26 and SDR 21), PVC solvent weld joints and couplings, and many standard threaded steel couplings. It also serves as joint assurance on joints that have been excavated or disturbed.
Interlocking ductile iron body segments carry a self-centering gasket at both ends, which avoids notching the PVC pipe.
Typical application: Repair, temporary or permanent: leaking bell and spigot joints and selected threaded joints.

Pipe anchorage, provided at install. The clamp seals the joint but does not restrain the pipe.

Working Pressure
Rated by application. JCM rates the pressure capability of this clamp for each installation: it depends on pipe size and type, the type and extent of the damage or joint condition, line content, temperature and installation. Send us the pipe OD and type and the working and test pressures, and we will obtain JCM's rating and a submittal for your application.

Before You OrderMeasure the bell OD and lip OD and check them against the maximums in the table before ordering.
Anchor the pipe: the clamp seals the full circumference but does not hold the pipe against lateral movement, so JCM calls for proper anchorage wherever the pipe could move out of the clamp.
