What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the 12V DC thermoplastic pump with vertical switch and 10 ft cord, the alarm and control unit with fuse and mute, and a thermoplastic battery box.
Battery required, ordered separately. A 12 volt deep-cycle marine battery.
Sized at install: check valve and discharge piping.
Overview
This battery backup system gives temporary backup during power failures or a malfunction of your primary electric sump pump. It runs on a 12 volt deep-cycle marine battery, which is not included.

A 12V pump moves less than a 120V pump. Compare its 18 GPM at 10 ft with your pit’s storm inflow; where inflow is higher, a water-powered backup such as the Guardian is the stronger choice.
