When suction lift exceeds 28 ft, Dri-Prime can't reach — Heidra takes over. Hydraulic-drive submersibles deployed in the sump, powered by a remote diesel or electric power pack up to 130 ft away. Vortex and slurry-gate variants for the toughest sludge handling.

Hydraulic submersibles solve the problems that surface-mounted pumps can't: deep sumps, restricted access, high-lift applications, and noise-sensitive sites.
Pump goes in the sump; power pack stays on the surface. No NPSH constraint, no suction-side cavitation.
Diesel or electric power packs (GHPU10–GHPU90) located up to 130 ft from the pump. Surface-mounted for easy refueling and service.
150V variants feature semi-recessed vortex impellers for sewage and large solids handling up to 5 in.
SG variants (100SG, 150SG, 200SG, 300SG) include slurry gate for abrasive / dense slurries and sludges.
Pump bearings are independent of the hydraulic motor — motor reliability isn't affected by pump-side loads.
Carbon upper face / silicon-carbide lower face. Designed for continuous immersed operation in abrasive service.
Power pack required — listed in the last column. Diesel (GHPU) and electric power packs available; consult for full power pack specifications.

Heidra configuration is driven by the application — fluid characteristics, depth, and access constraints determine the right combination.
Heidra is the right answer when surface-mounted pumps can't reach or can't fit.
Pit, vault, or wet-well depths beyond 28 ft suction lift. Heidra deploys in the sump; power pack stays accessible.
Tight manholes, vaults, or industrial pits where a trailer-mounted CD pump won't reach. Heidra fits where surface pumps don't.
SG variants for tank-bottom sludge removal, lagoon dewatering, mining slurry transfer, oilfield drilling mud.
Temporary replacement during lift station rehab — Heidra drops in the wet well, runs from a generator-powered electric power pack.
Hull dewatering, dock pit drainage, jetting operations — anywhere a surface pump can't access the fluid.
Heidra HH (high-head) variants combine submersible deployment with HL-class TDH for deep mines and quarries.
Heidra selection involves pump end, power pack, and hose run — we handle all three. 24-hour quote turnaround.
