Grundfos 1100S SP 10 in Submersible Well Pump

The Grundfos 1100S is the 1100 GPM class of the Grundfos SP submersible range, built for 10 in and larger wells. Pump and impellers are AISI 304 stainless steel. Each build here is a complete pump: the 1100S pump end and a Grundfos submersible motor, supplied together under one part number, with a 6 in NPT discharge.

Typical uses listed by Grundfos include groundwater supply, irrigation, residential water pressure boosting and municipal wells.

The 1100S range here runs on 6 in Grundfos MS6000C motors (30-40 HP), 8 in Grundfos MMS8000 motors (60-150 HP) and 10 in Grundfos MMS10000 motors (200-250 HP). The motor size for each build is shown in the selector and in the Models & Ratings table.

All builds are three-phase, at 230V or 460V.

24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture. Each 1100S serves one well as a single unit. For a duty/standby pair across two wells, or a flow outside what one 1100S carries, send us the duty: the 625S and 800S cover lower flows in the same 10 in well range, and we will size the set with you.

The model code reads flow class, horsepower and stages: 1100S1000-2 is the 1100S with a 100 HP motor and 2 stages. The same model can come in more than one build, so order by part number. • The 1100S2000-5 and 1100S2500-6 builds run on a 10 in MMS10000 motor; Grundfos lists a minimum borehole of 257 mm (10.1 in) for them, so confirm the casing ID before ordering.
• 1100S300-1A, 1100S600-2AA, 1100S750-2A, 1100S1000-3AA, 1100S1250-3A, 1100S1500-4A, -4AA, 1100S2500-6A and -6AA: letters after the stage count mean reduced-diameter impellers, which trim the head to fit a duty. The selector shows the full model, letters included.
