Overview

The Style 711 Line Cap closes off the end of a steel or polyethylene gas main with the same compression seal and grip-ring restraint as the 711 coupling, so the cap holds against pullout without welding.

Application: Capping live or abandoned steel and PE gas main ends.

  • Assembled stab design: little or no disassembly in the ditch
  • Metallic grip mechanism locks the pipe against pullout
  • PE pipe needs the matching color-coded insert stiffener
  • Every variant ends with the Dresser part number
