Overview

The Style 711 Insulating Coupling uses the same seal and restraint principle as the standard 711 and adds full electrical insulation between pipes, so a cathodically protected section can be isolated at the joint.

Application: Insulated joints on steel and PE gas mains where cathodic protection sections meet.

  • Assembled stab design: little or no disassembly in the ditch
  • Metallic grip mechanism locks the pipe against pullout
  • PE pipe needs the matching color-coded insert stiffener
  • Every variant ends with the Dresser part number

Also needed: insert stiffener for PE pipe, sized to the pipe SDR (sold separately).
