What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the cast iron sewage pump with oil-filled motor and 20 ft quick-disconnect cord.
Float or control panel required, ordered separately. These models run from a piggyback float or a control panel; three-phase and larger single-phase installs normally use a panel.
Sized at install: basin, guide rail or base, check and shutoff valves, discharge and vent piping, alarm.
Overview
1/2 to 2 HP cast iron pumps that handle up to 2 in solids with a 2 in or 3 in FNPT discharge, for residential developments, wastewater transfer, hospitals, motels, apartments, schools, churches, universities, campgrounds, office complexes and septic systems. Heads reach 77 ft and flows 215 GPM, per the catalog.
Manual or float? Manual models have no switch: they run from a piggyback float switch plugged in behind the pump cord, or from a control panel. The piggyback design means a defective switch can be replaced without replacing the pump.

1-Year A.Y. McDonald Warranty
Covered for 1 year from the date of installation, or 2 years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first under Baker Manufacturing’s published limited warranty (A.Y. McDonald Pumps & Accessories price list, effective 7/1/26). Per Baker’s terms, the warranty does not cover failure caused by sand or abrasive materials in the water.
Outgrow It and You Don’t Replace It
Single pump. Duplex stations use two pumps and an alternating control panel; send us the station and we size it.

Before You Buy — The Limits That Decide the Fit

Codes require at least 2 ft/s in the discharge pipe: about 21 GPM in 2 in pipe. Check the table at your total head. |
