Overview
The DAB S4 pump end is the multi-impeller hydraulic end of the S4 4 in borehole pump, sold without a motor for pairing with a 4 in NEMA motor or replacing a worn hydraulic. It pumps clean water from wells of 4 in and up, or from tanks and cisterns. Each pump end is built for the motor horsepower in its model name: S4 7/10 is the 7 GPM class for a 1 HP motor. The 5 to 25 GPM classes are also listed complete with a Tesla motor.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the S4 pump end with its built-in non-return valve, integrated suction filter and stainless cable guard. No motor.
4 in motor required, ordered separately. A DAB Tesla 4TW 2-wire or 4GG 3-wire motor, or any NEMA 4 in motor of the same horsepower; the motors for each horsepower are in the table under Models & Performance.
Motor control required, ordered separately. A DAB 4CBUS control box for a 4GG single-phase motor; installer-supplied protection for a three-phase motor; none for the 4TW 2-wire.
Drop pipe, drop cable and splice kit: sized to your setting depth and ordered separately.

Installation Notes
- Install vertically. Horizontal installation is possible; DAB recommends a cooling sleeve for it.
- Allow no more than 20 starts per hour.
