Overview
The Redi-Flo2 (MP 1) is the 2 in electric submersible used across the environmental industry for low-flow purging and sampling. The pump is stainless steel and Teflon, weighs 5.5 lb and fits monitoring wells with an inside diameter of 2 in and larger. Its frequency converter varies motor speed from 25 to 400 Hz, so one pump covers everything from a 100 ml/min low-flow sample to about 10 GPM purge. Originally designed by Grundfos, the MP 1 / Redi-Flo2 is now built by Royal Eijkelkamp.
-
Low-flow to purge in one pump. Dial the flow at the converter; no throttling valves in the sample line.
-
Clean samples. Wetted parts are 316 stainless steel and Teflon. Note the manufacturer's PFAS caution under Before You Buy.
-
Continuous Teflon lead. Order the pump with a 50 to 300 ft Teflon motor lead, or as a bare pump for your own reel.
-
Dedicated or portable. Install one pump per well to avoid decontamination, or move one pump between wells with a cleaning routine.
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Motor Lead option: the pump alone, or the pump with a continuous Teflon motor lead of the length you select.
Converter option: the matched frequency converter in its carry case, for 230V or 115V single-phase supply. The pump will not run without it. Choose None only if you already own the converter.
Replacement converters and lead kits are on the Redi-Flo2 converter and lead kit listing.
Not included: discharge tubing, reel, safety line and well seal. Tell us your well and we quote them with the pump.
Genuine, factory-new equipment, sold and supported by Watermain Supply™, an independent industrial supplier.
Sampling Only — Read Before Ordering
For groundwater purging and sampling only. The pump is not designed for continuous duty such as remedial pumping or dewatering, and the manufacturer warranty is void if it is used for anything other than groundwater sampling. For continuous recovery pumping, use the PR4-E Redi-Flo4 or PR4 pollution recovery pumps.
Converter required. The pump runs only from its matched frequency converter, which is programmed for this pump. Using any other drive voids the pump warranty.
Built to order. Pumps, leads and lead kits are built to order and cannot be returned or cancelled once ordered. We confirm the build and ship date by email when the order is received.

Total head in feet, read from the Royal Eijkelkamp MP 1 curve (ISO 9906 Annex A), converted to US units and rounded down. A dash means the pump gives no flow at that setting. Pipe, tubing and lead losses reduce the delivered flow. The curve is in the product images.
Before You Buy — The Limits That Decide the Fit
| Check |
What to confirm |
| Duty |
Sampling and purging only. For continuous pumping, choose a PR4 or PR4-E. |
| Converter |
Every pump needs the matched converter; another drive voids the warranty. |
| PFAS sampling |
The manufacturer states all parts are free of materials that give off foreign matter except PFOS/PFOA. Do not use this build for PFAS sampling; ask us about a PFAS-free option. |
| Liquid |
Not for concentrated oils, solvents, chemicals or explosive liquids. |
| Minimum flow |
Never set the converter so low that the pump gives no water; the flow cools the motor. |
| Ordering |
Built to order; no returns or cancellations once ordered. |
