Overview
The HC Series is Franklin Electric’s heavy-duty close-coupled end suction pump for irrigation, commercial, construction, municipal, mining and light industrial service. It has a ductile iron volute, an enclosed CA6NM stainless steel impeller with internal hydraulic balancing for lower bearing load and good NPSH, a silicon carbide mechanical seal, a replaceable shaft sleeve and wear rings, and Class 150 flanged connections.
This listing is the HCL6410 Flanged: 4 in discharge by 6 in suction, Class 150 Flanged connections, 7-1/2-15 HP at 1,800 RPM. It is not self-priming: run it with flooded suction or a foot valve and a full suction line. The 3,600 RPM version of this pump, 30 to 50 HP, is the HC 6410.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the pump end and its NEMA JP frame motor, close-coupled and assembled at the factory, with the impeller trimmed for the motor selected above.
Motor starter or overload protection required, ordered separately. Motors without built-in protection need a contactor and thermal overloads, sized to the motor’s full-load amps.
Suction and discharge piping, valves and gauges: sized to your installation; the suction pipe is the pump’s suction size or larger, with a foot valve where the pump sits above the water.
