Overview

A sine-wave filter on the output of the variable-frequency drive smooths the pulse-width-modulated waveform delivered to the motor, which matters on long motor cables and on submersible installations. Grundfos publishes one filter pairing for each CUE drive; that pairing is reproduced below. The five filters in the 977 series are IP23 and not UL Listed, per the Grundfos price book.

Amp bands are the maximum CUE output current Grundfos pairs with each filter; the same filter serves 200-240 V and 380-500 V drives of that current.

Before You OrderConfirm the drive part number against the pairing table. Where a project specification requires a UL Listed filter, the 977-series IP23 filters do not qualify. No pairing is published for the IP66 CUE drives.
