FAC Pump End Kit — No Motor
FAC close-coupled centrifugal pump ends, supplied without the motor, for rebuilding a 3 or 5 HP FAC pump on its existing NEMA JM motor.
Overview

The FAC is Franklin’s versatile, general-purpose centrifugal pump, built from durable cast iron with a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and FKM elastomer.

Each kit is the complete pump end — volute, impeller, seal and motor adapter — for one pump model, connection, seal type, speed and motor frame, supplied without the motor. Each FAC kit is built for one motor size: the FAC-300-K for 3 HP (5.75 in impeller) and the FAC-500-K for 5 HP (6.375 in impeller).

The kit carries the FAC mechanical seal: carbon x ceramic faces with FKM elastomer.

What Ships and What It Needs to Run

Included: the pump end kit selected above, identified by its kit model in the last option and its Franklin order number in the table below.

Motor: not included. The kit mounts on a NEMA JM close-coupled motor of the frame shown for the kit; reuse the existing motor or see our JM close-coupled motors.

Sizing: the motor must have the horsepower and service factor to carry the pump across its whole operating curve (Franklin’s kit note).

Genuine Franklin Electric equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
